This drawing was supposed to be the first in a series of study drawings about the Herring Gull (being chosen by random with the help of a random number generator and an animal encyclopedia) though my project was not followed through due to a combination of my mother distracting me most of the day and a fall down my apartment stairs that caused me to be in crutches for two weeks and then not being able to bike for another two weeks. I am fine now. Realized today that I never posted this drawing because I had wanted to do a series of study drawings and then post them all as one post.
